Be a Part of the Virtual Dedicated Server Revolution - Become an Infinitely Virtual Reseller

If you are interested in enhancing your portfolio of products and services, increasing your sales revenue, and you think that server virtualization is the wave of the future, you should consider becoming an Infinitely Virtual Partner.

As a partner with Infinitely Virtual, your company can tap into a whole new revenue stream, just by doing what you do already. With no start-up costs and high margins, any company can begin making money immediately, while larger VARs and hardware resellers can use IV’s services to offer existing customers a unique set of services, as well as attracting new business.

Three Partner Levels

We have three programs designed to fit your organization. If you are looking to enhance your sales portfolio, one of our partner programs is a perfect fit.

IVVAR

You’ve got a list of products and services, a well-oiled billing department, and an experienced technical support staff. You can enhance your service offering by adding Infinitely Virtual’s services to your own as a value-added reseller.

As an independent IVVAR Partner, you’ll offer products and services built on the foundation of the Infinitely Virtual platform. You’ll be able to take advantage of discounted plans and have deep access to our virtualization infrastructure and your customer’s virtual machines in order to serve their unique requirements. In addition, you’ll be able to purchase CPU reservations, RAM, and monthly transfer in bulk, and allocate your selected resources among your customers.

You’ll be able to set your rates and bill your own customers, and we’ll bill you, at a discount, for the products and services you sell. Your company will provide all support to your customers. As an IVVAR Partner, you’ll be required to provide a value-added service or product to our platform.

IVOEM

Your company has the technical know-how and the staff for billing and support, but you’re looking for services to fill out your portfolio. Infinitely Virtual’s OEM partner program allows you to sell and rebrand our services as your own.

The IVOEM partner program is designed for companies that wish to privately label products and services. As an OEM partner, you’ll be entitled to discounted plans, and you’ll have enhanced access to the Infinitely Virtual platform so that you can manage your customer’s virtual machines directly. You’ll also be able to buy CPU reservation, RAM and monthly transfer in bulk so that you can allocate those resources to your best advantage.

As an OEM partner, you’ll set your own rates and bill your customers, and we’ll bill you, at a discount, for the products and services you use. In addition, your company will provide all post-sales technical support.

IV Reseller

Your company is lean and your resources are focused on sales, so you don’t have the time to bill or support additional customers, or an interest in creating your own server farm. Your company is the perfect fit for the Infinitely Virtual Reseller program.

The IV Reseller program is designed for companies that wish to sell Infinitely Virtual products and services under the IV brand. Increase sales immediately, with each transaction resulting in increased monthly revenue. All billing and post-sales support is provided by Infinitely Virtual, so you can do what you do best—make sales. And we just send you a check every month.

Offer Your Customers Great Products

With Infinitely Virtual, you’ll be able to offer your customer products that stand out in the hosting industry, including Privately Hosted Exchange (PHE) with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Outlook 2007, Virtual Terminal Server (VTS) with Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 Terminal Server, and Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS) with either Windows or Linux operating systems. Your customers can take advantage of great options like daily backups, hardware firewalls and built-in antivirus protection.

Give Your Company an Edge with Hardware-based Virtual Servers

As an IV Reseller, you’ll be able to offer a wide array of products without incurring the upfront costs required to build an enterprise data center. You’ll also be able to choose the level at which you want to support your customers after the sale. Your company will have unique access to an innovative, hardware-based virtual infrastructure that allows you or your customers to access virtual machines over the web using our Virtual KVM; the ability to reboot virtual servers; and access to performance charts based on server statistics.

Join the Revolution

As a reseller or partner with Infinitely Virtual, you get a shopping list of benefits: continuous revenue stream, more servers for less money, unique reseller and customer features that help you sell more, and a great partner to help you win new business. Profitable Real Estate Websites

Ever wonder why so few real estate websites even come close to reaching their potential for generating new business? It's not for lack of site traffic. There are many agents who have all kinds of traffic but no new business to show for it. The answer lies in the fact that most sites are not built according to proven best practice standards. Which means other than looking good and having lots of generic information, most agent sites miss the mark in terms of truly engaging with the online consumer. Here are five best practices that if incorporated into your website will make a huge difference in its ability to capture your visitors' attention and generate considerably more profit for you.

1. Target Your Audience

Targeting your website for a specific niche market is the most powerful thing you can do to make your website truly effective as a lead generation tool. The vast majority of realtors make the mistake of using generic websites that try to "speak to everyone" which results in engaging no one. Your site must be able to answer the question: "What's in it for me?" from the perspective of a specific target market, otherwise your visitors will simply ignore it.

Targeting is so important that without it, the following four best practices will have little impact on improving your site's ability to generate business. With it however, these next standards will make it that much more powerful.

2. Web Copy That "Speaks" To Your Visitors

Effective web copy starts with headlines that grab your visitor's attention, otherwise they are not likely to read much of your other copy. Most real estate websites incorporate no headlines at all -- and that is a huge lost opportunity. Your headlines need to be crafted in such a way that they reflect the "emotional profile" of your target market. For example, headlines designed for first time buyers are very strongly worded and typically tap into the fear and excitement of buying their first home. Headlines written for the sophisticated luxury buyer or seller on the other hand are much more subtle and refined, often stroking the ego of this particular market segment.

Also, the body of your web copy should create a one-on-one conversation between you and your visitor. They should feel that you are speaking with just them, as if you are sitting right next to each other.

Most real estate websites are written in either first person ("I", "me", etc.) or third person (i.e. about you, as if you were a celebrity). If you really want to connect with your visitors, have your copy written in second person, where there are lots of "you", "your", "yours". This may seem like a minor point; however from the perspective of your web visitors it makes all the difference in the world.

3. Keep Your Site Internet Empowered Consumer (IEC) Friendly

If you are not careful, your site could end up driving visitors away rather than engage them. Here are some standards of web design to help make sure your web visitors feel welcome and safe:

Privacy Policy: Having a privacy policy can go a long way to making your visitors feel safe on your site.

Don't Require Visitors To Reveal Who They Are: If you have forms on your site make sure that they let the visitor know that they are not required to fill everything out. Consumers use the Internet because it affords them a sense of anonymity. Take that away by insisting they complete all the fields (especially the contact information ones) and you will likely drive many of them away. Human nature is really interesting. Tell people they have to do something and you will find a load of resistance. Reassure them they don't and they probably will just because they like your friendly approach.

Have Your Forms Give Instant Feedback: When a visitor completes a form, have your site instantly show a confirmation or "Thank You" page. This adds to the perception that you "heard" their request, thus feeling more connected. Your site can also fire off a confirmation email as well, however it is important that they see immediate feedback.

4. Keep Your Site Navigation Simple

We all know that a confused mind says "NO!" That being the case, many real estate websites are hearing a lot of "no’s" because their home pages are offering way too many options. At most you want your site's main navigation menu to offer no more than seven choices. Within each of these main menu options you can have submenus, just don't go overboard with those either. Also, avoid having your visitors work too hard to find what they want. Ideally, all your content should be within three clicks reach from the home page.

5. Visitor-Friendly Look and Feel

Make sure the look and feel of your web design is consistent throughout the site. It should also be appropriate for your target market. For example, less sophisticated target markets can have a more light-hearted design approach. More sophisticated ones require a more refined and stylish look.

Ideally, have your site located to show up in the center of the browser window and designed to fit for monitors set at 1024 x 768 pixel resolution or greater. Lastly, make sure your web designer has your site conform to W3C standards and use appropriate Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to globally control the look and feel of your site.

Article Marketing Strategies - Two Effective Ways to Make More Money With Your Articles

Do you spend hours, days and sometimes weeks studying the "guru's insider methods" for making money with article marketing, only to find the whole exercise feels like one gigantic waste of time? In this article, I'm going to share with you 2 magically effective ways to take your article marketing to the very next level in rapid fire turn around time, and I'm going to do it for free. Curious to know more? Great....continue reading on as we take a look below!

Tip #1: Okay....but no one reads my articles, they don't rank well and I don't understand why? Help!

The easiest remedy to increasing your article views is improved keyword research and placement in the title of article. For example, this article has the phrase "article marketing strategies" right up front, and I guarantee you that in a day....or a week....or even a month, this article will rank highly for that 3 word phrase like magic. Pick 3 word phrases and stick them up front in your titles...and then say something "profound" or interesting, compelling or promising immediately thereafter in the title. That's it...this one "shift" in keyword focus will amplify your rankings if you're not already doing it, and doing deeper, and more comprehensive keyword research will uncover a veritable avalanche of opportunity to monopolize the search engines for ANY niche you choose!

Tip #2: But I get terrible click through rates in my resource box! How Can I fix this for more traffic right now?

Experiment, test and tweak! I do....and so too, should you! But there are some cool things you can immediately interject into your resource box that will amp up the response right now. Add time sensitivity. Why? It's the oldest direct response principle in the book, and it works amazingly well. Put a date the offer needs to be redeemed by. For affiliate offers, you can use coupons that the vendor already offers that have a built in time sensitivity as well. Other options? Curiosity! Don't give away what the "give" is until they click on your link to find out for themselves! (i.e. - "a what's behind door #4 style approach" which appeals to our curious nature) This works incredibly well for us, and I've seen 3 or 400% increases in some of our resources boxes IMMEDIATELY just using this approach.

Creating Your Own Website-While Totally Naked

Congratulations. To the best of my knowledge, you are reading the only online guide to creating your own website while totally nude. This is also the original, knowing full well that copy cat articles will arise. Though this is a lighthearted article, I am very serious about web site creation and have helped many start their own websites. Admittedly though, this will be my first guide for those that have been waiting to create their websites, while completely naked.

Step One-Remove all your clothes.

Step Two-Get a web host. You can have your own professional website for less than $45. a year. This includes your domain name, webmaster tools, unlimited space, emails, autoresponder and the best applications to create your website. If you are new to site creation, I suggest Wordpress. It’s a very easy program to use, and produces very professional websites. No HTML is needed, its extremely easy. The host will also provide 24/7 support to get your website started.

Step Three-Create the website, while remaining totally nude. It’s a great feeling to sit there, totally unrestricted while creating your website. You may note the irony that this is how you were when you were created. Anyway, in Wordpress there is an easy menu. Choose appearance and choose a theme for your website. Next choose post, add new, and enter your first text. A good idea is to start with a general statement of what you plan to do with your website. Then just add posts as you go along. Usually one or two posts a day is fine. Its o.k. to publish your site with just a post or two. Many of the best sites started this way. If you add a post or two a day, your website will look great in just a couple of days.

That’s it! It’s that easy. Your friends and family will be very impressed with your new website. You perhaps will chuckle realizing that you did it all, completely naked.

Start your own website today. So easy, you can do it naked! (Boy, Geico is going to take that one).

Managing Bandwidth Costs

Bandwidth costs are a major part of the expense related to any webhosting program. Bandwidth is simply the amount of data that is downloaded over one billing period from one server. In most cases, sites use far less bandwidth than they tend to think. Only very large sites or those from which people typically download huge amounts of data need to be particularly concerned with having a large amount of bandwidth allocated to their webhosting program. However, as the site grows the bandwidth usage will inevitably increase and, if one does not plan ahead for this, this can result in some unpleasantly high bills.

One can think of their bandwidth costs the same way as they think of their minutes on their cell phone. If one buys enough minutes ahead of time, the cost is generally very low on a per minute basis. However, if they purchased too few minutes and go over, the cost of each individual minute goes up severely. The same applies to bandwidth. One generally wants to purchase a bit more than they actually need but not so much that the purchase constitutes an outright waste of money. One must monitor their usage to determine the correct amount.

Most webhosting companies will offer various packages where bandwidth is concerned. In most cases, webhosts do not sell bandwidth in incremental amounts on demand. Therefore, one should purchase a package which can accommodate their projected usage with a bit of overhead included in case the business enjoys a particularly successful month. One can get this estimate from their IT department or, if one hasn't an IT department on hand, they can hire a professional designer to give them a ballpark estimate of how much bandwidth they should be purchasing every month.

Remember that a company can reduce its bandwidth usage by simply reducing the size of their site. This is often the reason that it's worth it to hire a professional designer. Professional designers understand how to reduce the size of every page, including images, so that when one visits the site they are downloading a significantly smaller amount of data. The navigation structure of the site will also play into this. Generally, the better organized the site, the fewer clicks it takes for any given visitor to reach their intended destination and, therefore, the less bandwidth is consumed by the average visitor when they peruse one's website.

Virtual vs. Dedicated Webhosting

There are two principal types of webhosting packages available: virtual servers and dedicated servers. The differences between these two options are significant, principally where space and bandwidth are concerned. There are also significant differences in the complexity involved in setting up these accounts in most cases. Generally, a dedicated server is something that need only be considered by either companies that have their own IT department on-hand or by those who have access to a professional who can help them set up and configure their own server. Virtual servers may be too small for some applications.

A virtual server is an arrangement where several different websites are hosted on the same server. As far as these sites and their visitors are concerned, there is only one site on the server. It is not possible for a visitor to the website to hop from one's website to any of the other websites hosted on the server without typing the URL of that website directly into their browser are reaching it in any other way by which a site is commonly reached over the Internet. This arrangement has advantages and disadvantages that make it appropriate or inappropriate for certain applications.

A virtual server will mean that the website has less available space and that, if traffic is very high, the load speed to users may be compromised. On the upside, a virtual server account is far less expensive and complex to manage than is a dedicated server account. The dedicated server account will require that the user set it up from scratch and that they administer the computer remotely at the level of a top administrator. This requires significant skill and experience and, generally, a command-line knowledge of either Linux or Windows server operating systems.

On a dedicated server, the site administrator enjoys complete and total control over the machine. All bandwidth routed into or from that machine is dedicated to the one site hosted on the machine's hard drive. For large businesses with busy sites, this is often the only viable option. For smaller businesses, however, a dedicated server may well be overkill. The easiest way to determine whether or not one needs one or the other is to take into account questions of security and to monitor diligently one’s bandwidth usage over a billing period. If either proves too much for a virtual account to handle, get dedicated hosting.
